About Us
We started to inculcate traditional and healthy way of living (Inside out) for our neighborhood communities through Yoga, Meditation & Chess for kids and adults. Both virtual & in-person classes are available. We teach ancient way of Yoga, Mudras/ Postures and its benefits, eye exercise, breathing & relaxation techniques which includes Theory & Practice. Helps one to understand "why we do what we do". Healthy Gurukul also supports various charitable causes globally.

Yoga & Meditation:
The history of Yoga dates back to several centuries (atleast 15,000 years old) in India. This ancient knowledge was cascaded to next generations from time to time without much of prints & modern day technologies. Our ancestors (Siddhas & Rishis) clearly understood the benefits of Yoga & its Practice and passed on the knowledge through Gurukul way of teaching to their students.

Chess:
The history of chess can be traced back nearly 1500 years. Precursors to chess originated in India. Its early form in the 7th century CE was known as Chaturangam (Squares) which translates to "four divisions of the military" viz. Infantry, Cavalry, Elephantry and Chariotry. These forms are represented by the pieces that would evolve into the modern day Pawn, Bishop, Rook and Knight respectively.
Kids learn USCF rules, principles of chess game, puzzles, strategies and tactics.
We prepare kids for competitive tournaments and also conduct inhouse tournaments with trophies.
